Get your groove on in a High Intensity Interval Training class – the ultimate in fat burning and sculpting the body. Think body-weight exercises, cardio work, games and circuits for a total body blast. Time poor Mums don’t have time to mess about, get stuck in right from the off .... but what is so brilliant about these classes is that the exercises are based on periods of work and rest (yes we did say rest!) so you can workout at a rate that is right for you – dependent upon energy levels!!
One week we may go for a circuit session, the next we may add in some equipment like kettlebells, medicine balls and boxing pads. Sometimes we 'theme' the session and target a particular body area and one week we may add in an ab blast!
Fantastically effective class, great tunes and you can bring the babies, tots or pre-schoolers too! Playmat and toys provided!
Squats, lunges, butt kicks, shuttle runs and star jumps may all feature – as well as the infinite amount of variants to each exercise, so you can adapt the move to suit you. Just keep moving and sparkle away!

For all of my postnatal classes I do an ‘ab check’ for diastasis recti and ensure that the girls are working at the correct level and progressing.
